Towards a Nude Architecture｜Yuval Zohar アンコール・プレゼンテーション

4月5日（土）に開催された『Towards a Nude Architecture（裸の建築）』出版記念講演には、多くの方々にご来場いただき、会場に入りきれないほどの盛況となりました。当日は「よく聞こえなかった」「もう一度聞きたい」といったご感想も多く寄せられ、そうした声にお応えし、同内容によるアンコール・プレゼンテーションを開催いたします。

建築家Yuval Zohar （ユバル・ゾハ）氏は、10年以上にわたって日本各地を巡り、日本の温泉文化を建築的視点から記録・探究してきました。著書『Towards a Nude Architecture（裸の建築）』では、温泉を単なる鉱泉の質や地域性で語るのではなく、「建築・自然・風習・人々」が交わる空間として読み解いています。

写真、図版、コラージュを通して語られるのは、日本の温泉文化を建築的に見つめ直す旅の物語です。ご関心のある方は、ぜひお越しください。

Encore Presentation: Towards a Nude Architecture

The publication talk for Towards a Nude Architecture, held on Saturday, April 5, drew a large audience—so many that the venue could not accommodate everyone. Many attendees shared comments such as “I couldn’t hear well” or “I’d love to hear it again.” In response to these voices, we are pleased to present an encore presentation featuring the same content.

Architect Yuval Zohar has spent over a decade traveling across Japan, documenting and exploring Japanese onsen culture through an architectural lens.
In his book Towards a Nude Architecture, he goes beyond mineral qualities or regional traits, further analyzing onsen as spaces where architecture, nature, customs, and people intersect.

Through photographs, diagrams, and collages, Zohar offers an architectural journey into the heart of Japan’s onsen culture.
