〖About Clelia Baumgartner〗
Clelia Baumgartner is an internationally renowned artist who has exhibited her work in museums, performance festivals, and galleries across Austria, Italy, Japan, China, Ghana, Germany, and Spain. She studied fine arts and art education at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where she honed her skills in design, woodworking, video, intermedia, painting, performance, and architecture, among others. Through her studies, she embarked on numerous projects, showcasing her talent in various fields.
In recent years Clelia is exploring artistic movement born from intuition. Through painting, she strengthens her connection with intuition; trusting her feelings and communicating them through art. A process of breaking out of the mental box, a questioning of the favoritism of the intellect in western culture in general and in the realm of art in particular.
During her university years, Clelia served as an assistant to architecture professor Mag. Anton Falkeis for over five years, supporting workshops and project development for students. This experience deepened her understanding of the intersection between education and art, refining her ability to facilitate the creative growth of others. Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Clelia remained in Vienna and took the opportunity to create large-scale paintings and performative video works. Despite the adversity, she continued to produce art, reaffirming that art serves as both solace and a way of life for her.
From 2021-2023, Clelia participated in the Dima Mystery School in Mallorca, embarking on an inner journey alongside fellow participants. Through this experience, she rediscovered the importance of creativity and art as tools for personal growth. Currently, Clelia dedicates her passion to research and education focused on deepening self-awareness through creativity and art. Her diverse experiences and skills provide a strong foundation for helping individuals connect with themselves and unleash their creative potential. Clelia sees this as her calling and contribution to the world.
